Scott Hallsworth, the ex-head chef of Nobu and chef-owner of Kurobuta is venturing into the world of late-night venues. Partnering with nightclub supremo Piers Adam and David Phelps of royal’s favourite Mahiki Mayfair and Bodo’s Schloss, Ramusake has landed on the Old Brompton Road and is set to take the South Kensington dining scene by storm.
Ramusake is a members’ restaurant that rocks a sexy, fun and laid-back vibe with Japanese-inspired cocktails on the menu using sake and premium rum.
On the menu…
Scott takes the helm in the kitchen with his team of Kurobuta trained chefs, delivering the same Kurobuta menu plus a few brand new dishes created especially for Ramusake. Think Beef Fillet Tataki with Onion Ponzu, Garlic Crisps and Kombu Roasted Chilean Seabass with Spicy Shiso Ponzu, served tapas-style.
Committed to pushing gastronomic boundaries, Scott’s menu at Ramusake is a celebration of his vast experience in Japanese cuisine and testament to the runaway success of Kurobuta. Look out for favourites like Tuna Sashimi Pizza with Wasabi Tobiko and Truffle Ponzu – a signature dish of Scott’s – and Fried Chicken Kara-Age Sliders with Kimchee Mayo, Pickles and Iceberg for two Western takes on classic Japanese food.
