Latin American restaurant group Las Iguanas are opening three sites this spring in Woking, Torquay and Swansea, bringing their total number of sites to 41. The additional restaurants will also create over 130 new jobs for the local areas.
Woking
At the end of March, Las Iguanas will launch a 170 cover restaurant complete with piazza in the town of Woking on Commercial Way. Designed by B3, the interior will be bright and breezy with colour pops of turquoise and yellow, bringing plenty of sunshine to Surrey. Geometric wall art and glazed tiling are softened with comfy banquette seating and a separate bar area screened by reclaimed windows from the main dining room creates a beautiful separate space to enjoy a Latin-American cocktail or two.
Torquay
Launching at the end of April, Las Iguanas is set to bring sizzling heat and Brazilian beats to the Riviera. Opening in Torquay’s new dining quarter, Abbey Sands, Las Iguanas offers an authentic taste of Latin American food, drink and music in a bright and vibrant space. Stunning sea views, surrounded by swaying palms and just seconds from the beach, make Las Iguanas Torquay the perfect summer hang-out.
Designed by B3, a relaxed separate bar area screened by reclaimed windows that can be thrown open when the sun shines, offers customers the perfect sun trap to enjoy one of Las Iguanas’ legendary Caipirinhas.
Swansea
In late April, the explosive dishes and fabulous flavours of Latin American cuisine will land in Swansea city centre. Designed by B3, the light and airy 210 cover restaurant has an open kitchen window so guests can watch the hustle and bustle of the chefs cooking the fresh menu.
The room becomes a warm and vibrant dining space by night with twinkling lights and cosy banquette seating. The Latin-American feel continues throughout the restaurant with reclaimed wood, artisan tiles and bold coral, mustard and turquoise walls and finishes, floating slatted ceilings, pergolas and tropical planting. The large outside terrace overlooking the square will be the place to see and be seen with a chilled glass of wine or cocktail when the sun is shining.
