Red Hot World Buffet in Leicester has served over 35,000 pizzas, sold enough ice cream to fill an Olympic size swimming pool, and dished up chicken to the equivalent weight of three London buses - all in just 12 months.
The 400-seater venue, part of the Highcross Shopping Centre, has now been open for a year and has served over 250,000 people across the city.
“We have welcomed thousands of customers through our doors in the first twelve months to sample high quality cuisine from all around the globe. There’s something for everyone and we’ve seen families, students and young couples all enjoying the great choice of food we have on offer,” commented Mellissa Bignell, manager of Red Hot World Buffet Leicester.
New Seafood Grill and live noodle station
To celebrate its first birthday, the team at Red Hot World Buffet is also introducing a new evening Seafood Grill, a live noodle station and added further options to its extensive Indian and Chinese menus.
Paul Miller, group executive chef at Red Hot World Buffet added:
“We’re always keen to add more variety to our all you choose menu. The new dishes include shrimp noodles, salt and pepper mushrooms, chinese dumplings and gyozas, kadhai panner, and murgh malai tikka.
