PizzaExpress has become one of the first casual dining brands to utilise the power of Facebook Messenger bots in their Christmas campaign.
In restaurant marketing materials displayed across all 460 restaurants feature Facebook Messenger code which diners simply scan in, using their phones to access an exclusive ‘Shake The Tree’ game. The game gives diners the chance to win prizes including free pizzas, Dough Balls and much more.
Every customer who plays the game will receive a personalised video which shows PizzaExpress Dough Ball characters seeking a prize for the user.
The game has already attracted 7,000 entries since its launch on Tuesday.
