ASK Italian celebrates transformational new look in London FlagshipASK Italian has just reopened the doors to its flagship Islington restaurant after an extensive refurbishment, marking the half-way point in the journey to ‘transform’ every one of the 110-strong estate.

Distinctive new look

The 185-cover restaurant – one of the largest sites in the group – now reflects the brand’s distinctive new look, inspired by bold, fresh Milanese design, with warm foodie touches.

Last year saw ASK Italian refurbish 47 restaurants, and Islington marks the first significant reopening of 2014 – with the remaining restaurants all scheduled to be completed by the end of 2015. ASK Italian Islington is located at 52 Upper Street, London N1 0PN, adjacent to the Business Design Centre.

The new Islington restaurant, open daily from 9am, offers diners a choice of zones to dine in – from high stools and tables for those seeking a quick bite to eat, to a relaxed dining room and open-plan kitchen area.

ASK Italian Managing Director, Steve Holmes, says, “We’re delighted to be reopening our Islington restaurant, particularly because it marks such a major milestone in the transformation of the ASK Italian brand.

“We believe our passion for Italian culture shows not only in the quality and provenance of our food, but also in the design of restaurants – we hope our customers in Islington are as excited about the changes as we are.”

ASK Italian is one of the UK’s leading casual dining restaurant brands, with 110 restaurants throughout the country, driven by a passion for authentic Italian food and culture. With the help of expert friends, Theo Randall, Carla Capalbo and Adrian Garforth MW, ASK Italian has been discovering the best of Italian life, reflected in the menus and 100% Italian wine list.

ASK Italian was recently named ‘Best Italian Restaurant’ in the 2013 Pizza and Pasta Association Awards.
