Wright Brothers Soho launches ‘The Cage’Oyster specialists and wholesale seafood suppliers Wright Brothers have opened their first private dining area, in Wright Brothers Soho.

‘The Cage’ is a semi-private dining room with a special, supersized industrial structure modelled on the lobster cages, used by Wright Brothers on their own oyster farm. The cage walls can be folded into different configurations, creating either a more intimate dining party space for the evening, or opening up into more of a party space for drinks. The versatile and elegant space can accommodate 20 guests for seated dining or 35 for a standing event.

Provenance

As one of the UK’s most respected seafood wholesalers, Wright Brothers is in the unique position of being able to source oysters directly from its own Duchy Oyster Farm, part of the private estate of HRH The Prince of Wales on the Helford River in Cornwall. Here Wright Brothers cultivate over 10 million native and pacific oysters.

The restaurant also serves the freshest day boat fish and shellfish possible, all sustainably sourced and the majority from Cornish fishermen. Wright Brothers was established by brothers-in-law Ben Wright and Robin Hancock in 2002, and since then has come to be recognised as one of the country’s finest specialist seafood wholesalers, supplying over 150 prominent restaurants and chefs across the UK.
