Groupon UK today announced it is partnering with a number of Michelin-starred and Michelin-recommended restaurants to offer customers a fantastic dining experience while also helping to give to a good cause. For every voucher bought through the Dine & Donate Christmas Campaign, Groupon will donate £5 to FareShare, a charity that aims to relieve food poverty and reduce food waste in the UK.

About FareShare
FareShare is a unique charityfighting two of the most urgent issues facing the UK today: hunger and food waste. 5.8 million people in the UK live in extreme poverty, struggling to afford everyday essentials like food. Meanwhile, a shocking 3.9 million tonnes of food is wasted every year. FareShare fights hunger by redistributing good quality in-date food, which would otherwise go to waste, to more than 1,700 charities and community groups across the UK who provide vital meals and essential support for disadvantaged and socially excluded people. Last year the charity received 6,400 tonnes of food from the food industry, and provided enough for over 13 million meals.
