WingsEggs brings a new idea of dining to the North End Road

Recently opened WingsEggs brings a new idea of dining to Fulham Broadway’s North End Road, South West London.  The restaurant specialises in serving diners the very best in chicken wings and eggs served in many forms and along with a carefully selected menu of European beers.

Chef JP Tanti, formerly at the Hoxton Grill, has researched the very best chicken wing recipes from all around the world to create an interesting menu of chicken wings – some that are firm favourites, whilst others are lesser known and some, such as Dita Maltease which is a chicken dish with peanuts and honey, are created by the chef himself.

Chicken wings

The chicken wings at WingsEggs are flavoured with everything from the menu staple – traditional Smoking BBQ wings to Pimp My Ride, a Tennessee bourbon influence cooked in Jack Daniels. The more adventurous diner might try the Asian influenced Miso Japanese style wings or Fulham Jerk which are Jamaican style marinated wings.

Diners can choose to pick up their wings and eat them with their fingers or have them deboned and served either in a Brioche or for a healthy option with a salad.

Equally important at WingsEggs are of course the eggs which have been carefully selected from high quality farms. The hen’s eggs are all Burford Brown and Cotswold Legbar and other speciality eggs will feature on the menu as specials including duck and quail. The specials menu will also seasonally feature emu and ostrich for the more adventurous egg aficionado. WingsEggs will serve you eggs any way you like them, whether it’s poached, boiled or scrambled!

The egg dishes include the Lost Sailor which is a dish of scrambled Burford eggs with crayfish and avocado and Sweet Sisters which are Fried quail eggs cooked with chicken, corn and red pepper.

WingsEggs also aims to provide diners with a range of carefully chosen European craft beers including Fruh, Chimay, Erdinger and Orchard Pig. The team at WingsEggs can match menu choices with a carefully chosen beer to complement.

For Burger lovers WingsEggs also has a Mr Jagger burger, named as such as you need a ‘big mouth to eat’ according to the chef!

The restaurant interiors are both quirky and stylish with the doorway designed like a red phone box by artist, Alexandre Baptista. WingsEggs seats 45 diners and also does takeaway service. Diners can also sit on designer stools made by Japanese artist Riki Watanabe , ambient lighting and wooden tables.
