Diciannove has appointed Giancarlo Corrado as Restaurant Manager of its authentic Italian restaurant and chiccetti bar, near Blackfriars station.
Prior to joining Diciannove, Giancarlo held the position of Assistant General Manager at Italian restaurant Cucina Asellina located within the 5-star luxury ME London Hotel. Whilst there, part of his role was to oversee the training and recruitment for staff as well as ensuring a high standard of quality was met throughout, alongside customer service and care.
Encouraged by his roots and heritage from various regions of Italy including Naples, Sicily and Rome, Giancarlo has worked for a number of well-known establishments following tours of duty in bars and restaurants in Rome before moving to the UK to further his career in London.
An experienced manager with a deep knowledge of Italian food, wine and culture, Giancarlo’s principal role at Diciannove includes the day-to-day management and overall direction of the restaurant ultimately providing the authentic Italian experience. Working alongside a team of talented, Italian-born chefs, the kitchen brigade is a mix of highly experienced and passionate Italians chef from all over Italy.
