155 Bar & Kitchen is the gastronomic arm of independent concept store Clerkenwell London.
Serving modern British bistro food from breakfast through to late-evening, the restaurant offers an à la carte menu comprising exceptional British ingredients.
About 155 Bar & Kitchen
An all-day space for dining and drinking, 155 Bar & Kitchen takes customers from the first coffee of the day to the last cocktail of the night, right through brunch, lunch and dinner.
155 Bar & Kitchen presents a modern British menu in a surrounding that pairs soothing neutral tones with details inspired by London’s own landscape, heritage and personality.
Taking the helm in the kitchen is a team of innovative and emerging chefs supported by award-winning chef consultant Damian Wawrzyniak, who brings a wealth of knowledge from experience at world recognised restaurant Noma and his role as head chef at the 2012 London Olympics & Paralympics.
The menu masterfully balances adventure and comfort with a selection of inventive, flavour-packed dishes with culinary influences from Britain and beyond. 155 Bar & Kitchen is committed to supporting niche and emerging British producers including high quality meat from HG Walter and sustainable fish and shellfish from Flying Fish with a focus on seasonality, these fresh and locally sourced ingredients run prevalent through the menu.
Signature dishes merge these great British ingredients with international flavours – from Cornish sea bass carpaccio with avocado, yuzu and coriander, through to confit Dingley Dell pork belly with zesty salsa verde.
The food menu will soon be supported by a handpicked selection of wines curated by newly appointed resident Master of Wine Sarah Abbott.
Sarah is just 1 of 112 female Master of Wines in the world and will be supporting our in-house sommelier Pauline Vicard on innovative wine lists, tailored wine events and experiences throughout the space.
After hours, watch expert cocktail making, from well-mastered classics to inventive in-house creations.
155 Bar & Kitchen is designed in welcoming Scandi-style neutrals by the legendary local studio Barber Osgerby.
In addition to the 55 cover eatery are several adaptable spaces perfect for private events.
The Coterie, literally translating to “a small group of people with shared interests or tastes”, is a petite private dining room filled with original artworks hand selected by esteemed art dealer Julian Page. It is the perfect space for intimate special-occasion meals and gatherings.
The Vinyl Lounge is a 1970s-inspired lair with custom-built decks, a specialist-curated music library and its own martini bar.
The Piano Lounge is a large, adaptable event space equipped with its own baby grand piano. The lounge is ideal for networking and training sessions, meetings and drinks receptions, small-scale conferences and launches.
