Celebrated by sun-chasing epicureans since its launch, The Ritz-Carlton, Abama has long been hailed as one of the globe’s most delightfully surprising destinations when it comes to gastronomy. Tucked away in Guia de Isora on the south west coast of Tenerife, the glamorous European resort continues to deliver with exceptional culinary developments and new openings from its stable of Michelin chefs, making a dream destination for foodies year-round.
Blessed by the African sun, the island resort sets the scene for steamy Summers and warm Winters and all just a short-hop from the UK, perfect for those not only looking to escape the Winter blues but revel in hot Winter sun. High on glamour and complemented by the Ritz-Carlton’s exceptional standards of service, the resort provides a truly decadent winter retreat.

A private beach accessed by cable car against a volcanic backdrop, infinity pools in its sub-tropical gardens, award-winning spa, championship golf course and brand new Annabel Croft Tennis Academy, are just some of the resort’s treasures ready to be enjoyed this winter.
With a mouth-watering selection of 10 restaurants, The Ritz-Carlton, Abama constantly strives for culinary perfection and this season guests will not only enjoy the renowned two Michelin-starred M.B. from seven-star chef Martin Berasategui but his debut restaurant, TXOKO, based on a traditional concept from the Basque country, introducing authentic Spanish gastronomy and hospitality at its very best.

At Abama Kabuki, Chef Daniel Franco promises sushi under the sun like no other destination in the world. The Michelin-starred Japanese fusion outpost, launched in 2006 and globally acclaimed with an exceptional reputation for exquisite and creative Japanese gastronomy, has relocated to a brand new ergonomic and architecturally designed foodie haven in The Ritz-Carlton, Abama’s Casa Club.
Jet set foodies can experience the very best house sushi and sashimi, piece by piece, at the new sushi bar with narrative and exclusive culinary insights from the restaurant’s sushi artists.
