August saw the celebration of Wrapchic opening its first ever eatery outside the UK in sunny Dubai.
Wrapchic has had yet another record breaking year so far and the team are proud and utterly astounded to have opened for business in the famous Burjuman Mall in Dubai just 4 years after opening a single outlet in Birmingham back in 2012.
Wrapchic was born out of the vision of founder Mahesh Raikar. Mahesh was keen to bring authentic, mouth-watering Indian food to the lunchtime market. As the number one lunch remains the traditional sandwich usually eaten at a desk this posed certain barriers; enter the Mexican twist of this unique eatery. Wrapchic is most famous for its Indian Burrito. It’s filling, fresh, healthy and interesting. Wrapchic has a ‘no fry policy’ which makes them a popular and regular lunchtime choice for many customers.
Wrapchic now operates over 9 major UK cities; and of course now in Dubai. These include London, Birmingham (Bullring), The Broadway in Bradford, Merry Hill in Dudley, INTU Milton Keynes and Meadowhall (Sheffield)
Wrapchic founder Mahesh Raikar explained “It’s early days but Wrapchic has been very well received in Dubai. The outlet is our largest ever made and we’ve been thrilled by the stir and excitement we have created in Dubai. The Dubai team also offer live cooking making this a real unique experience for the customer. This coupled with our hugely popular fillings makes our expansion plans outside of the UK look incredibly promising”.
Wrapchic has enjoyed incredible growth across the UK and report a promising start in Dubai. The team are already looking to open further outlets abroad and are committed to ensure this happens.
