This November, Darkhorse the modern European restaurant in the East Village, Stratford, will be hosting a Racine pop up with industry legend Henry Harris. For one night only, Henry will take to the stoves to cook a specially designed menu recreating some classic dishes, from one of the capital’s best-loved French restaurants.
The three-course menu will be paired with wines carefully selected by Ian Goodman, co-founder of Darkhorse, the menu will include Seared Duck Hearts with Garlic Butter, Celeriac and Smoked Eel Remoulade with Fresh Horseradish, paired with a Jurancon Sec, Clos Lapeyre 2014; Duck Confit with Gratin Tarbais, paired with Château Le Roc Classique, Fronton 2012; and to finish Baked Plum Financier with Armagnac Créme Anglaise paired with Monbazillac, Jour de Fruit, Domaine de l’Ancienne Cure 2013.
